I’ve already posted a review on this rack, but I want to add a couple of things. Rogue will let you switch out the bar/pins for credit towards safety straps. These are excellent quality and will save wear on your bar. Do it! Another essential item to add to a purchase of this rack is the Monster Lite Matador. I love mine. Very functional. Do it!

No need for most people to have a Monster series rack. The Monster Lite is massively strong. I only wish it had numbered holes like the Monster series. Don’t add the stabilizer bar at the bottom back of the rack. It will get in the way when doing incline bench. I highly recommend bolting the rack to the floor. This way a stabilizer bar will not be necessary. (Use the floor bolts that Rogue provides - or the same type if purchasing elsewhere. Do not use obsolete anchor bolts.) I did purchase the stabilizer bar, but I’ve moved it to the top front of the rack. I do chin-ups elsewhere. I’ve mounted the long storage posts on sides of the back posts of the rack. This is a suitable location since I bring the bar to my sternum when doing bench, and the weights on the bar easily clear the 45s sitting in the posts. This rack fits my basement with a ceiling height of 94” to the floor boards and 86” to the joists. I’ve mounted the cross member at the back and front a little lower. (Since I’m 6’2” I have to press the weights between the joists.) (The Rogue Bench 2.0 no longer available with the rack. Be grateful. This bench has limited notches. It has either too much of an incline or not enough. The Rogue Bench 3 is far superior.)

Fit together perfectly. Simple to assemble and solid as a rock. Great quality and best of all, Made in USA! Bought it for me but can’t keep my son off it.

This rack is perfect for the serious home gym owner. It's solid enough to handle heavy weights but manageable enough for beginners too. There are endless accessories and the rack was very easy to build. I love it.

I purchased my Rogue RML 490 2 months ago and it is a fantastic addition to my home gym. I researched every rack I could find and after much deliberation, I chose rogue. The extra money I paid up front was minor. If I had gone with any other brand, I can honestly say I would have kicked myself. Bes t choice and rack you could ever ask for! Worth every penny
