Got the 6'x8' platform and the rough tiles. Worth it for not having to search high and low for the right stall mats and cutting them down to size.

I've spent around 80k on Rogue gear in 2017. Almost everything I would rate with 5 stars. Unfortunately, not their platforms. I purchased a total of 4 platforms for a new training facility I just opened. After purchasing the platform, rubber tiles, band pegs, and floor plates at a premium price (over $1000 a set) - I would expect the item to be ready to setup and use. The issue with these is the floor plates. They are 1/4 inch thick - and an obvious necessity with the band pegs. However, when laying the insanely expensive rubber tiles on top of them, they are VERY uneven. I had to go out and buy 4x8 1/4 inch thick sheets and then rip them into pieces to fill the gaps, and then lay another 1/4 inch 4x8 sheet on top of them, then lay the rubber tiles down (fortunately, they JUST fit with the extra thickness from the 4x8 sheet). They look great now - and the 1/4 inch rubber tiles (although expensive) really blunt any drops. I would advise Rogue to supply some sort of fix around these for others - even if the 1/4 inch rubber tiles were cut to accomadate the floor plates etc...

This is the best platform I've used , the rubber tiles are perfect thickness and I hit a new PR the first time using it

Easy to assemble High Quality It's the exact feeling you're looking for to use with your bumper plates. I had been using 3/4" stall mats. Even when doubled up, they don't compare. The density of this mat just makes it much softer. I was worried that I'd need the 8x8. This size is more than enough. Obviously the 8x8 is a nice luxury......but you'll never find yourself needing more space if you're an averaged sized person.

Purchased the OLY Platform with band pegs for our YMCA facility. Super easy to assemble. I put it together by myself in about 20 min (getting it out of the box took the longest). This platform greatly reduces the amount of noise produced from dropping the weights. After shimming up the rubber tiles due to the minor offset caused by the weight plates this thing turned out perfect. We've had a lot of positive feedback from our members. Being able to utilize the rogue bands has been a huge plus with this piece. Two thumbs way up to Rogue for the quality and design of this platform. We will certainly be purchasing another in the future.
